One of the biggest announcements Warner Bros. has made in regards to the DCEU was the return of Michael Keaton as Batman. On top of this, it's set to be the very same character fans watched in his original films. This was all made possible thanks to the Multiverse story in which Ezra Miller's The Flash will be telling, one which would bring the old Caped Crusader back into the spotlight.
Keaton's return will be far more than just a simple cameo. Not only will he play a major role in the Scarlet Speedster's first solo film, but he is set to return in more projects after that. The first one, at least known to audiences, is Batgirl.
While his part in the movie's proceedings is unknown, set photos have confirmed that Keaton will be donning the suit once again for Leslie Grace's debut project; likely as her mentor and trainer.
Now the actor has taken to social media to tease his much-anticipated return.

Michael Keaton Is The Batman
Seeing Michael Keaton put on the suit once again is something many fans likely never thought they'd see happen. Now, not only has it actually come true, but if rumors are to be believed, the actor will become the de-facto Batman for the DCEU.
While Ben Affleck once had that title, the actor has confirmed in his appearance in The Flash will be the last time he'll play Bruce Wayne. While not outright confirmed, this is likely to mean his Caped Crusader will meet his end thanks to Barry Allen tinkering with the timeline.
Hopefully, the return of Keaton's hero will be everything audiences dream it can be. They won't have to wait long to see what the vigilante's next steps in the universe are; his stint in Batgirl is set to debut at some point in 2022, likely after his return occurs in Ezra Miller's project.
Batman is all the rage right now. Not only is there the Keaton and Affleck situation, but Robert Pattinson's version of the character is set to hit theaters on March 4, a film many fans are extremely excited about. Needless to say, it's a good time to be a fan of the famous DC Comics orphan.
The Flash releases in theaters worldwide on November 4 later this year.
