DC has an exciting lineup of films for 2022 as Warner Bros. makes sure that it's one of the busiest years for the studio. This comes after a single release in 2021 with James Gunn's The Suicide Squad due to the pandemic. This year, the studio is taking it up a notch with an impressive slate that includes The Batman, The Flash, Black Adam, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, and its animated venture, DC's League of Super Pets.
Robert Pattinson's The Batman will spearhead the slate when it arrives in theaters in March 2022, giving fans a fresh take on Bruce Wayne's adventure as Gotham's protector. Ezra Miller's The Flash will do a deep dive into the Multiverse, thus potentially changing the landscape of the DCEU.
Meanwhile, Dwayne Johnson will do double duty in live-action and the animated realm.
Johnson's Black Adam is set to introduce a new anti-hero into the DCEU while also setting the stage for the debut of the Justice Society of America. On the animated front, Johnson stars as Krypto the Superdog in League of Super Pets, a film that has been confirmed to include tons of DC Easter eggs.
Now, in celebration of the Lunar New Year, a new wave of posters to promote the upcoming slate has been unveiled.

A Special Look at DC's 2022 Movie Slate
This new batch of posters offers a unique look at DC's movie slate while honoring a special occasion. In many ways, the images provide the right mix of tradition and superhero themes.
It is unknown why Jason Momoa's Aquaman is not featured in the lineup, but it's possible that Dwayne Johnson's star power could be the reason behind the marketing strategy. Based on previous reports, the former WWE Champion is a huge star in China, with his films usually leading the box office in that region.
Highlighting Black Adam and Krypto could serve as a reminder to Chinese fans that Johnson's movies are slated to arrive this year, thus boosting anticipation and box office projections in China.
Marvel films like Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and Spider-Man: No Way Home didn't release in China. This latest promotional drive for DC films could hint that The Batman and Black Adam will debut in China this year, meaning that it could be good news for the films' box office haul.
The Batman is set to premiere in theaters on March 4, 2022. Black Adam will arrive in theaters on July 29, 2022. The Flash will premiere on November 4, 2022, while DC's League of Super Pets will debut on May 20, 2022.
